Incorporating proven technological advancements in tactical illumination, it comes with virtually indestructible, dual LEDs that deliver white light and infrared illumination for extreme versatility, as well as coaligned dual lasers (green and IR) for quick and easy zeroing. Power comes from one 123A lithium battery (included).

The Surefire XVL2-IRC which is controlled by an integral ambidextrous momentary- and constant-on switching system also features the Custom MaxVision Beam® technology which shapes the illumination beam into one that provides the optimum mix of projected illumination plus wide-angle illumination for target acquisition and situational awareness. To maximize the efficiency and efficacy of the warfighter, this technology keeps the profile as well as weight of the XVL2 to a minimum.

Built with aircraft-grade aluminum to last, this unit that attaches securely to both Universal and Picatinny accessory rails is weatherproof, waterproof O-ring and gasket sealed; it also meets IPX8 waterproof standards (66 feet, 2 hours).

The XVL2 IRC Weaponlight accepts optional pressure-activated remote switches for precision control without altering grip on weapon, and the package includes a nylon pouch to store the XVL2, mount key, safety screw key, cleaning cloth and lens cleaner.
