The IWI Galil Ace is an extremely reliable and highly accurate AR pistol based on the original Galil assault rifle legendary for its reliable mechanism. The IWI Galil Ace pistol features several modernizations, such as increased magazine compatibility, the inclusion of a left-side reciprocating charging handle easily operable by a weak hand, and the use of modern polymers to achieve a reduced weight. Also to be found on the Galil Ace are fully adjustable iron sights with a Tritium front post and 2-dot Tritium rear aperture; and a milled-steel receiver topped with a two-piece, full-length Picatinny rail featuring a Picatinny style tri-rail forearm (with in-built, slide on/off rail covers with pressure switch access). A side-folding stabilizing brace is featured on Galil Ace SB models which enables firing with or without the brace extended, depending on the shooter's preference.
