In the US the CZ Bren 2 MS has made its debut as a robust but substantially light pistol with multiple barrel lengths and two chamberings. The relative lightweight is a result of the trimmed-down aluminum receiver it features, as well as a lower made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer. The CZ Bren 2 MS lacks a reciprocating charging handle, but is instead equipped with one that stays stowed in the forward position till when needed. It has an ambidextrous safety and magazine release; it also sports an AR-style bolt catch/release system that is mirrored on both sides of the firearm, and a catch/release nestled into the front of the trigger guard. The Bren 2 Ms in pistol form features flush rear plate with provision for attaching an AR-style buffer tube for the installation of an arm brace, cheek rest or similar pistol stabilizing devices. As the next evolution of the Bren, the CZ Bren 2 is reliable, accurate, and fun to shoot.
