An evolution of the Browning’s classic 1911 pistol design, the all new 2020 STI Staccato R in 9mm Luger is a Single Stack pistol featuring a steel frame and polymer grip module designed to absorb and dissipate felt recoil, as well as keep the total weight of the firearm low. Also available on this pistol is a Staccato Gen 2 grip optimally textured to provide a secure hold even in moist or gloved hands; a 5” stainless steel bushing barrel that offers a high level of accuracy; improved serrations on the slide for easier manipulation; a T.A.S II rear sight and a fiber optic front sight that gives the shooter the ability to acquire targets faster, and to hit them even under stressed situations; and three (3) 8-round magazines. This latest slim profile version of the Staccato incorporates the FlaTec™ technology, is built with STI’s superior materials and craftsmanship, and nicely finished off in all black Diamond-Like Carbon.
