The Benchmade Griptilian Folding Knife with CPM-S30V stainless steel, drop-point blade; plain edge; black finish; full dark earth nylon handles; reversible tip-up, standard pocket clip; lanyard hole; ambidextrous thumb stud openers; and Axis lock mechanism.

Designed by Mel Pardue to deliver all-round functionality, the Griptilian is outfitted with a drop-point CPM-S30V (58-60 HRC) blade; this Benchmade Griptilian blade is of premium quality, has excellent cutting and edge-retaining capabilities, and is very corrosion-resistant.

The Benchmade Griptilian 551 handles which are FDE-finished and textured to offer a firm grip even in wet conditions are made from Noryl GTX. The Benchmade Griptilian knife also features an Axis lock mechanism with an ambidextrous design and smooth function; a reversible tip-up, standard pocket clip for left or right-hand side carry; and a lanyard hole for those who would prefer to use a lanyard while wielding the Griptilian for additional security.
