Designed by Warren Osborne, the Benchmade Emissary 470-1 features a tough, edge retaining, and corrosion resistant blade made from the superior CPM-S30V (58-60 HRC) stainless steel. This drop-point blade with a single, plain edge wears a satin finish, and requires minimal maintenance.

The Benchmade Osborne Emissary goes ahead to feature CNC-machined billet, aluminum alloy handles; wearing a black anodized finish, these handles are of high-strength, and built to provide a sure hold. The patented Axis-Assist system that is naturally and easily operated is also present on the Benchmade 470-1, and comes with a safety mechanism as well. A reversible tip-up, deep-carry pocket clip rounds out the package and ensures that this folder can be conveniently and securely carried.
