Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Springfield Armory XD-M OSP features a Melonite treated, hammer-forged steel barrel that is the ideal size to complement the addition of a suppressor and yet maintain a balanced weight; this barrel that scores high on accuracy is also threaded with a thread protector installed. To help the gun stay on target during rapid fire, the Springfield XDM OSP is equipped with a one piece full-length guide rod that effectively manages recoil; to ensure a comfortable and secure hand fit, a Mega-Lock grip texturing has been featured on the full size grip frame; small, medium, and large interchangeable backstrap options have also been provided to enable the user customize the grip to their hand. As a versatile handgun, the Springfield XDM OSP 9mm comes with mounting plates for optics such as the Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire 2, Burris FastFire 3, Leupold DeltaPoint, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, JPoint Sights, and Trijicon RMR. Two (2) 19-round magazines have also been included to round off the package.
