Among the features of the SCCY CPX 2 is a Zytel polymer frame with finger grooves that are ergonomic and an integral recoil cushion on the back-strap, a receiver made from 7075 T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy for best performance and durability, a black nitride-finished slide machined from quality stainless steel with a Zytel over-molded polymer extension included for ease of operation, an all steel recoil system fully encapsulated for ease of disassembly and reassembly, a double action trigger with a smooth, effortless, consistent 9 lb trigger pull specially designed for shooter comfort and accuracy, as well as a trigger lock (includes 2 keys) custom designed to properly fit and be child-resistant.
