The CZ 75 SP-01 is a high magazine capacity (18 rounds), all steel, not very lightweight, pistol featuring a precision investment cast frame and forged slide. It has a long sight radius, and its ingenious internal slide rail design and somewhat hefty weight/feel significantly reduces the recoil, making controllability and reliability the strong points of the SP-01. Just like the P-01, the SP-01 boasts of a light rail and an improved grip, but this model has an extended beavertail, which is a feature unique to it. More impressive features of the SP-01 include its butter smooth double action trigger pull, and ambidextrous flip down side safeties that are positive and accessible.
