Only slightly larger than the popular and incredibly compact LCP®, the Ruger EC9S is a slim, compact and lightweight pistol designed by Ruger with convenient carry and personal protection in mind. This striker-fired, 9mm Luger pistol boasts of a construction that can only be described as ‘rugged’ with a one-piece, high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame, and a through-hardened steel slide; the grip frame is checkered, and a finger grip extension floorplate can as well be added to the magazine to offer a more secure and comfortable grip; the trigger has a short, light, crisp pull for faster, more accurate shooting; and the sights, featuring glare-reducing, rear-facing serrations, are integrally machined with the slide. The EC9S comes with one (1) 7-round magazine, and, featuring several safety features such as a manual safety, an integrated trigger safety, and a chamber inspection port, is an ideal pistol for everyday carry.
