Its features include a Beretta Vertec steel frame with aggressively textured Vertec-style thin grips that ensure instinctive control and a more natural fit for all shooters; and a red-dot optic-ready slide with front serrations for easy manipulation in any weather/lighting conditions. This Beretta 92X optic ready slide comes in a universal design that features Vertec configuration dovetail combat sights for optimal sight options, and an easily replaceable control lever that allows the user to convert from safety-decocker (F) to decocker-only (G) and back.

Also equipped on the Beretta 92X RDO is a short reset trigger for faster trigger pulls, and a built-in 3-slot Picatinny rail that enables easy attachment of a variety of aftermarket tactical lights, laser devices, and other accessories.

The pistol ships with two 18-round, anti-friction coated magazines, and 10 as well as 15-round magazine capacity options are available for capacity-limited states. The magazine well is beveled to allow for quick magazine changes to be performed easily with one hand regardless of lighting conditions.
