The 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P Shield Plus is an optics-ready, striker-fired pistol that brings more capacity and improved features to a concealed carry platform.

While it comes standard with tritium night sights installed for the longest possible sight picture and optimal accuracy even in low light conditions, the stainless steel slide of this semi-auto pistol features an optic cut so you can also mount your choice of red dot sight for enhanced target acquisition. The slide – just like the stainless steel barrel - is finished with Armornite® for superior protection against corrosion and wear.

Also featured on the Smith and Wesson Sheild Plus is a flat face trigger that promotes consistent trigger finger placement for more accurate and repeatable shooting, while offering a more tactile and audible trigger reset; a manual thumb safety lever for better reliability; an enhanced grip texture that allows you to manage recoil better and keep a firm grip; an optimal 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim; as well as M&P’s patented take-down lever and sear deactivation systems that allow for disassembly without pulling the trigger.

This extremely thin and lightweight Smith and Wesson M&P 9 Shield Plus can comfortably be carried all day; and, backed by Smith & Wesson’s Lifetime Service Policy, it ships with two (2) magazines included: an extended magazine that offers 13+1 round capacity, and a flush-fit 10 round magazine for more concealability.
