CMC Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group

The CMC BCG with 8620 steel carrier; 9310 steel bolt; black color; and nitride finish.

Designed for shooters who demand superior performance weapon components in the heart of their firearm, the Enhanced BCG features an enhanced carrier that is made of case hardened 8620 steel. The flared rear of the enhanced bolt carrier is designed to reduce carrier tilt/cant during recoil, and increase reliability by strategically relocating key bearing surfaces; and the carrier has fewer points of contact, resulting in less friction area.

A true mil spec dimension, the bolt that comes with this CMC Bolt Carrier Group is made from 9310 case hardened steel; its components are shot peened and black nitride coated; the external surfaces are CNC-ground after heat treatment for a precision fit; and the bolts are held to the highest possible tolerances.

To ensure an area that is as smooth as possible, thereby easing clean up and promoting longevity, the trumpet area behind the gas rings, where carbon collects, has also been heat treated and then precision CNC ground.

The CMC Enhanced BCG is designed for use with .223 Remington/5.56x45mm NATO/.300 AAC Blackout AR-15 style rifles.
