Incorporating all the features of the P226 in a smaller, more compact package, this Sig Sauer P229 Elite pistol is outfitted with a beavertail frame made of aluminum alloy for durability; a stainless steel slide with front cocking serrations for positive manipulation; a short reset trigger (SRT) to ensure a smooth action, faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting; a decocker or manual decocking lever that allows the hammer to be dropped on a live cartridge without risk of discharging it; SIGLITE night sights for an enhanced targeting experience; and black E2 grips that feel secure and comfortable.

Chambered in 9mm, the P229 Elite comes with a 3.9-inch barrel as well as two (2) 15-round magazines, and has been engineered to meet the most demanding reliability standards while delivering the highest possible performance.
