A Commander-sized 1911 in 45 ACP, the Dan Wesson Guardian combines the best features from two of the manufacturer’s most popular models: the bobbed Commander and the CCO.

The pistol features a lightweight, yet tough and durable frame forged from aluminum and anodized for corrosion and abrasion resistance, and is the lightest 1911 in the Dan Wesson lineup. The manufacturer combined the slide of the Commander with a bobbed aluminum mainspring housing to help reduce printing when carrying concealed, and also to make this Dan Wesson Guardian 45 Auto comfortable enough for shooters who carry full-time.

This stunning handgun is also equipped with wood grips that offer a comfortable and secure hold; a manual thumb, as well as grip safety mechanism for safe use/carry; and fixed night sights on the front and rear to help you aim better in conditions of low light.
