The CMC BCG with enlarged forward ports; hardened 4320 cam pin; Mil-Spec 8740 steel firing pin; Mil-Spec extractor spring and O-ring; and black nitride finish.

Optimized for suppressor use, the CMC AR-10 BCG includes an enhanced bolt carrier with a flared rear designed to reduce carrier tilt/cant during recoil, and increase reliability by strategically relocating key bearing surfaces.

Made from Case-hardened 8620 steel, the carrier has fewer points of contact, resulting in less friction area. The greater mass ensures proper gas pressure and increases dwell time, and this improves extraction while shooting suppressed or short-barreled rifles (SBRs).

The bolt is forged from 9310 case hardened steel, and is a "true" Mil-spec dimension. To ensure a precision fit, its external surfaces are CNC-ground after heat treatment. The "trumpet" area behind the gas rings, which is the carbon collection point, is also heat treated and precision CNC-ground to ensure as smooth of an area as possible, easing clean up and enhancing longevity. Held to the highest possible tolerances, the bolt components are shot peened & black nitride coated.
