Also featured on the Vortex Gen 3 scope is an L-Tec+™ Zero System for quick and simple zeroing; a HD optical system with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity; optically indexed lenses for edge to edge image sharpness and brightness; ultimate anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces to provide maximum light transmission for peak clarity; and the ultra-hard, scratch-resistant ArmorTek coating to protect exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.

Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and rigidity, the Vortex HD Gen 3 provides reliable waterproof, shock proof and fogproof performance with the help of O-ring seals and argon gas purging.
