Featured in addition is a forged trunnion and carrier for an increased barrel life and accuracy; an improved left hand M14x1 threaded muzzle brake that tames the rifle’s recoil to a level of 556; iron front, leaf rear sights for enhanced target acquisition; side optic rails for easy installation of optics; as well as a red Italian wood buttstock for better structural support. The pistol grip as well as upper and lower handguards are also all of red wood construction.
