It is equipped with a tanto blade made of D2 tool steel for exceptional toughness and finished with black stonewash to hide the scratches that accumulate with repeated use and make the blade low maintenance. The Carson assisted flipper opener on the M16 knife lets you open the blade quickly and easily, and the new deadbolt lock featured ensures the blade remains securely in place during use.

To provide a lightweight and comfortable grip, the black aluminum handles on the folder have been milled; and you can confidently go about your daily duties with the CRKT M-16 knife safely stowed in your pocket, thanks to the stainless steel pocket clip that allows carry in a tip-up, right or left position.
