A good-sized knife that is not too big, the Random Leek comes equipped with a reverse tanto blade which shape adds improved functionality, aesthetics and durability. 3 inches in length, this 14C28N stainless steel, bead blasted blade is edge retaining, easy to resharpen, and perfectly capable of taking on a full range of everyday cutting tasks.
Also featured on the Kershaw Leek Tanto is a “flipper” blade tab, dual thumbstuds and the manufacturer’s popular SpeedSafe assisted opening technology, all of which work together to enable fast and easy one-handed opening of the knife. A super-secure frame lock locks the blade in place when its open, and when its closed a Tip-Lock slider ensures it remains so.
The Kershaw Leek Random comes with a sleek-looking handle made of pure 410 stainless steel, contoured for comfort, and finished with bead blast like the blade to make any scratches that may accumulate overtime much less visible. This handle is also drilled to enable attachment to a lanyard, and has a stainless steel pocket clip screwed to its back. The Kershaw Leek deep carry clip can be configured for tip-up/down, right carry, making the folder convenient to move about with.
