This Downwind Ulu features a unique fixed blade made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel, and this blade with a large, hefty build is designed to be used for heavy duty deep and sweeping cuts. Also present on this knife is an ergonomic, traditional-looking, multi-layered G-10 handle that remains efficient even when wet, distributes the weight throughout the entire knife, and has been tried and tested to maximize time and energy, while decreasing fatigue when in use.

Subtle jimping on the spine and positive control choils throughout the hand ergonomics empowers users of the Survival Ulu knife to maintain a certain control over the knife; a waxed canvas sheath has been provided for storing and carrying; and a lanyard hole is also present to provide more carry options.
