The PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 brings the M3 improvements to the 20 round 7.62 NATO/.308 Winchester SR-25 magazine form factor. It also replaces the MAG243 in their line and features all of the GEN M3 improvements in its 20 round capacity form factor of the previous design.

This magazine features a constant-curve internal geometry, a long-life stainless steel spring, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for reliable feeding.

A paint pen dot matrix is added to the bottom panel of the PMAG Gen M3 Magazine to allow easy marking by the end user for identification; a snap-on Impact/Dust Cover that can optionally be used to minimize debris intrusion and protect against potential damage during storage and transit is present; the low profile ribs, as well as new aggressive front and rear texturing, give positive control of the GEN M3 in all environments; and the simple, tool-less disassembly makes for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Designed specifically for SAAMI-spec ammunition, the Magpul Gen M3 PMAG is less than half the weight of standard issue steel magazines and maintains a service life round count approximately equal to the rifle barrel itself.
