The Spiderco Cricket folding knife with VG-10 stainless steel, drop point blade; fully serrated blade edge; satin blade finish; ambidextrous thumb hole opener; linerlock locking mechanism; stainless steel handle; lanyard hole; and tip-down stainless steel pocket clip.

With the rounded stainless steel handle and lock integrated, the Cricket model that is long-favored now comes in an even thinner profile.

Based on the idea of Custom knife maker Chris Reeve, this folder features a linerlock's liner made out of the backside scale of the handle, eliminating unneeded thickness and bulk from the handle, and ensuring a secure lock with moving lock parts that are fewer.

Also featured on the Cricket knife is a reverse "S" shaped, drop point blade made of VG-10 stainless steel, and this distinctive blade shape curves into a keen precision tip for intricate/detailed cutting. The blade is also fully serrated as well as hollow-ground, and when folded closed creates a rounded package that rides nearly invisibly in the pocket.

The pocket clip that comes with this Spyderco Cricket offers right-handed tip-down carry, but also attaches to a tie and makes a fashionable money clip. Thanks to the flat and plain nature of the handle which also features a lanyard hole for easy attachment of a lanyard or fob, this folder can be easily customized with engraving, corporate logos or a personal message.
