The Spiderco Para 3 is the latest and more compact generation of Spyderco’s immensely popular Paramilitary family of folding knives, and is rapidly redefining the state-of-the-art in ultra-light cutting tools.

Impressively functional and reliable, it features a PlainEdge blade full-flat ground from CTS-BD1N stainless steel; this blade offers superior edge geometry as well as low-friction cutting performance, and wears a stealthy black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

To allow for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening of the Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight, an oversized Trademark Round Hole which is a distinguishing feature of Spyderco knives is also present on the blade which is held securely open by a patented Compression Lock. This lock provides exceptional lock strength, while allowing you to close the blade with one hand without having to place your fingers in the path of its edge.

Adequately textured for a positive grip, the Spyderco Para 3 scales are of injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) construction, and the lightweight handle is infused with stainless steel liners that maximize structural strength and ergonomics, while keeping the handle slim and pocket-friendly.

This refined folding knife with a distinguished history also comes with a generously sized lanyard hole at the top of the handle for easy attachment of lanyards or fobs, as well as a reversible deep-pocket carry clip that offers a choice of left or right-side, and tip-up carry. This carry clip, in addition to the screws, all sport a non-reflective black coating to complement the finish on the blade and handle of the Para 3 knife.
