The Spiderco Smock is the manufacturer’s first collaboration with custom knife maker, Kevin Smock, as well as one of the most anticipated Spyderco knives to be released in recent history.

This slim, high-performance folding knife ideal for everyday carry features a hollow-ground blade precision machined from CPM S30V stainless steel, and the sheepsfoot, PlainEdge blade boasts a unique profile that balances low-friction edge geometry, tip strength, and point utility. The Spyderco Smok blade as well includes both a Trademark Round Hole and an elegantly simple index-finger flipper for swift, ambidextrous, one-hand opening; this forward-positioned flipper is simply a corner of the blade's tang that flows seamlessly into the lines of the closed knife, offering excellent leverage and, when stroked with the index finger, instantly propelling the blade into the open position. A pair of special ball-bearing pivot washers are also featured to enhance the flipper's operation, ensuring a reliable, positive lock-up and an ultra-smooth action.

Skillfully textured for positive palm traction, the Spyderco Smock scales are of carbon fiber/G10 laminate construction and feature matching skeletonizing holes that further reduce weight and contribute to the knife's unique style. The folder’s handle is built on a framework of full, skeletonized stainless steel liners that also form the basis of the knife's stout Compression Lock mechanism, and its open-backed design further minimizes the knife's weight and simplifies cleaning.
