Spyderco Kapara Folder Carbon Fiber Handle Satin Plain Sheepsfood Blade - C241CFP
C241CFP Details:
Spyderco Kapara
The Kapara Spyderco folding knife with CPM-S30V stainless steel, sheepsfoot blade; plain blade edge; satin blade finish; ambidextrous thumb hole opener; compression locking mechanism; carbon fiber handle; lanyard hole; and reversible deep-pocket wire clip.
The Kapara is Spyderco's first collaboration with Australian custom knife maker Alistair Phillips, and of the most anticipated Spyderco knives of 2018.
Featuring a design based on the knife maker’s Redback folder, this pocketknife is equipped with a CPM S30V stainless steel, sheepsfoot blade that is full-flat ground for truly impressive low-friction edge geometry. A fully accessible Trademark Round Hole is present on the blade, allowing for convenient one-handed opening with either hand, and the blade’s drop-point profile gives it both a long, gently curved edge as well as a point that is acute and utilitarian.
Sporting a sophisticated profile to offer an exceptionally secure and comfortable grip, the Spyderco Capara handle contains full, skeletonized stainless steel liners that form the foundation of its high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and these liners are capped by stunning solid carbon fiber scales meticulously 3D machined to give them a subtle radius. Symbolic of its name, this folder also features a red G10 backspacer that provides a visual accent and adds structural strength, while leaving most of the handle’s back open to reduce weight and make cleaning easier.
Rounding out this Kapara knife is a lanyard hole that is generously sized to accommodate lanyards or fobs, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that can be configured for left or right-side, tip-up carry.
