Now available at Mister Guns is the GEN M3 20 round 5.56x45 NATO/ .223 Remington magazine optimized for Colt-spec AR15 and M4 platforms, but which also permits operation with a range of additional weapons such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and others due to its modified internal and external geometry.

To exceed rigorous military performance specifications, the GEN M3 incorporates new material technology and manufacturing processes, in addition to an expanded feature set and compatibility, all of which give it enhanced strength, durability, and reliability.

This magazine feeds reliably thanks to its constant-curve internal geometry, a four-way anti-tilt follower, and a durable USGI-spec stainless steel spring. The Magpul Gen M3 Magazine also features an over-travel stop on the spine to ensure the magazine will not over-insert on compatible weapons; a redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine for increased bolt catch clearance; and aggressive front and rear texturing for positive control of the mag in all environments.

Designed to be slightly slimmer than before for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches, the Magpul Gen M3 PMAG floor plate aids extraction and handling of the magazine, and also offers improved drop protection. The floorplate is also flared to enable simple tool-less disassembly for ease of cleaning.

A paint pen dot matrix added to the bottom panel of the body allows easy marking by the end user for identification, and a pop-off Impact/Dust Cover that can optionally be used to minimize debris intrusion and protect against potential damage during storage and transit of the PMAG Gen M3 Magazine is also included.
