The Smith and Wesson M&P 9 2.0, designed to be ideal for personal, sporting and professional use, is the newest innovation to the company’s respected M&P polymer pistol line.

Delivering an entirely new platform, this Smith and Wesson MP 2.0 in .45 Auto features a stainless steel, M&P M2.0 barrel with a 1 in 15” twist rate and a low bore axis for reduced muzzle rise, faster aim recovery, and comfortable shooting; a stainless steel slide finished with Armornite® just like the barrel for superior corrosion and wear resistance; as well as a polymer grip with an aggressive grip texture for enhanced control, and four palmswell grip inserts (S, M, ML, L) that are interchangeable for the best hand fit and trigger reach.

Lacking a manual safety, this striker-fired pistol is equipped with a passive trigger and striker block safety mechanism for safe carry/use. Also featured on the S&W M&P 2.0 45 ACP is a fine-tuned, crisper trigger with a lighter pull as well as a tactile and audible reset; the Truglo® TFX™ encapsulated tritium plus fiber optic xtreme handgun sights for easier and faster target acquisition; an embedded and extended stainless steel chassis that is also rigid to deliver reduced flex and torque when firing; and an optimal 18-degree grip angle that makes for a natural point of aim.
