Designed for compatibility with Mil-Spec sized carbine receiver extension tube (not included) from manufacturers such as Colt, LMT, Ruger, S&W, SIG, and others, the Magpul MOE SL Stock – Mil-Spec Model (MOE Slim Line) – is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 carbines using Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes.

Made in the USA for the modern battlefield, it features an improved, more sloping cheek weld that combines a slim profile with functional support; a rollover on the toe to allow for easier shoulder transitions and better fit when the MOE SL user is wearing body armor; a dual-side release latch that provides easy adjustment while remaining anti-snag; as well as an angled rubber butt-pad optimized for use with body armor or modular gear and for efficient shoulder transitions. This butt-pad offers an anti-slip surface and increases impact protection.

Also featured on the Magpul MOE SL is an internal anti-rattle feature that minimizes wobble on the receiver extension tube, providing a secure fit.

In terms of sling point variety, the MOE SL Stock is compatible with Magpul ASAP®, ASAP® QD, and other receiver-mount sling attachments.
