3560 Details:
Kershaw Ember
The Kershaw 3560 Ember folding knife with 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, drop point blade; plain blade edge; titanium carbo-nitride blade coating; 2” blade length; flipper blade opener; SpeedSafe assisted opening technology; frame lock; 410 stainless steel handle; 3-position deep carry pocket clip; lanyard hole; 4.75” overall length; and 2.2 oz. weight.
A smaller pocketknife with plenty of style, the Ember is the result of a team-up by Kershaw and Rick Hinderer.
The angles, contours, matte-gray coating, and black hardware of this compact folder give it a striking as well as tactical look-and-feel. The modified clip-point blade which is just 2 inches long has an ergonomic top curve which gives you a convenient place to position an index finger when guiding the Kershaw 3560 knife’s edge in a close-cutting situation; it is also heat-treated to demanding specifications as well as titanium carbo-nitride for the best performance.
Thanks to the SpeedSafe® assisted opening technology and the handy, built-in flipper protruding from the blade’s spine, the Emberknife can quickly and easily be deployed with one hand, and when in use the blade is securely locked in place by the sturdy frame lock featured.
Made of 410 stainless steel, the handle, like the blade, also wears a titanium carbo-nitride coating for an enhanced look; and the deep carry pocket clip screwed to it can be positioned for tip-up or tip-down, left- or right-handed carry of the Kershaw Ember 3560 which will also be at home in a briefcase or backpack.
