The Launch 6 automatic knife from Kershaw offers a dark tactical look with a slim profile ideal for EDC.

Its drop point blade is made of premium CPM-154 blade steel preferred by knifemakers for its high performance properties which include the ability to take and hold an edge well, and to withstand corrosion and wear. For enhanced performance and non-reflectivity, the Kershaw 7800 blade wears a Black DLC coating.

To keep the overall weight of the knife down, Kershaw has opted for an anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle which is machined to provide a secure grip. The durable handle comes with a pre-drilled lanyard tie-off hole, and a reversible, tip-up left/right pocket clip screwed to it so the Launch 6 Kershaw can ride securely and comfortably in your pocket.

This automatic knife swiftly opens when you depress the recessed push button which also releases and folds the blade when pressed a second time. Kershaw made the button level with the flat of the handle as a safety feature which makes it harder for the 7800BLK Kershaw knife to accidentally deploy.
