The Smith and Wesson M&P 15 22 is an optics-ready rifle that is carefully designed and well-equipped for superior performance.

This Sport rifle features a factory mounted red-green dot optic with a variable intensity dot in both red and green; this included optic is adjustable for windage and elevation, and allows for a quick and easy sighting solution.

Also featured on the M&P15-22 Sport is a 10-inch M&P slim handguard that incorporates the popular Magpul M-LOK™ system, allowing you to easily customize the rifle by adding accessories without removing the handguard. You can also easily mount numerous M-LOK-compatible accessories or any number of Picatinny-style rail sections designed to accommodate other accessories, and a 2-inch M-LOK rail panel is included as well.

To enable you adjust the length of the rifle for easier carrying and storage, the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 boasts a 6-position adjustable stock; the carbon steel barrel is lighter in weight, more accurate, and more durable; an A2 flash hider is attached to the muzzle to reduce the visible muzzle flash from your point of view, protecting your night vision, and aiding in faster follow-up shots in low light conditions; a functioning charging handle has been provided so you can manually cycle the bolt group during loading and unloading; and a 2-position, receiver-mounted safety lever is present to enhance reliability.
