This model features a 20-inch, Sporter Profile barrel constructed with carbon steel and given a fluted profile to provide a nice balance between shoot ability and a reduction in weight; as well as an action that is drilled and tapped so you can mount scopes and other accessories for enhanced performance with the Rem 700 ADL. The cylindrical receiver design provides a solid bedding base in the stock for consistent shot placement. For added protection against the elements out in the field or in that long time on the hunt, the barrel and action are given a nice black finish.

The entire upper assembly is held in a rugged synthetic stock which provides a stable platform, and this stock boasts rubber inlays for keeping hold of the rifle in less than favorable conditions. Also featured on the Remington 700 ADL is the X Mark Pro Trigger which gives the shooter a nice crisp trigger pull for that added level of accuracy; a 2-position safety; a recoil pad that further reduces recoil to ensure that shots are more controllable; and an internal magazine box with no hinged floor-plate.
