The MK18 upper receiver group with FDE RIS II Picatinny quad rail; 10.3” cold hammer-forged barrel; M4 feed ramps; DD flash suppressor; DD M4A1 RIS II MK18 handguard; DD rail panels; ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle; and M16 profile bolt carrier group (BCG).

The cold hammer-forged barrel features a Government profile and is the same length most commonly used for CQB operations.

The Mark 18 upper goes ahead to feature an M16 profile, Mil-Spec MP-tested, chrome-lined BCG with a properly staked gas key; heat resistant (to 300O F) DD rail panels made from Santoprene; a RIS II MK18 handguard Type III hard coat anodized for durability; and a DD flash suppressor made of 17-4 PH stainless steel and salt bath nitride-finished for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance.

New and independently ambidextrous, the GRIP-N-RIP charging handle on this Daniel Defense DD MK18 upper accommodates all shooters whether they are left or right-handed; it is also engineered for suppressed fire, boasting anti-gas features that redirect gas flow upward and away from the face of the shooter.
