Offering best-in-class features, the shotgun comes ready for action with a 28-inch barrel sporting a stepped, ventilated-rib, in addition to a chamber and bore chrome-lined to ensure long-lasting protection from corrosion and wear; choke tubes that come in C, IM and F constrictions; a fiber-optic front sight that makes it easier to zero in on targets with the Franchi 3.5; a receiver that is drilled and tapped for easy and quick mounting of optics and other accessories; five stock drop and cast adjustment shims for a truly optimized shooting experience; an optional 3.4 oz. stock counterweight to promote optimal balance adjustment if desired; and a one-piece trigger group assembly that is easily removed for ease of cleaning and maintenance.

Due to the lack of a heavy gas cylinder under the forend, Franchi Inertia Driven shotguns balance and swing like a fine gun should.

The TSA recoil pad on this shotgun comes in a revolutionary design proven to reduce felt recoil up to 50 percent. To improve accuracy and allow for faster follow-up shots, this recoil pad reduces flinching; and, due to its rounded edges, it does not snag on clothing when the gun is raised to shooting position.

Loading shells with or without gloves into this shotgun chambered for the use of 3-1/2 in., 3 in., and 2-3/4 in. shotgun shells is easy, thanks to a loading port that is enlarged as well as beveled. The controls on the Franchi 12 Gauge 3.5, including a bolt release and charging handle, are oversized for easy operation of the action even with gloved hands.
