The latest addition to Henry’s world-famous line of lever-action repeaters, the Henry Steel Lever Action .30-30 Side Gate rifle was built with the traditional deer hunter in mind, and designed from the ground up to wring top performance from the respectable .30-30 smokeless cartridge.

100% American-made, the rifle features a steel receiver that is drilled & tapped to enable easy mounting of scopes; a round, blued steel barrel that is machined with state of the art multiple groove rifling; Henry’s best-of-both-worlds design with a side loading gate and removable tube magazine for quick top-offs and safe, fast unloading of the Henry 30/30; an American walnut stock; and a black solid rubber recoil pad.

This rifle with a timeless appeal also features an automatic in-hammer transfer bar safety; a brass bead front, and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a diamond insert for fast target engagement; side ejection that keeps fired casing off the scope and out of your line of sight, with spent brass going towards the front to make it safe for left-handed hunters too; and a five-shot tube magazine that can be loaded from the front or topped off through the side gate.
