Developed by Andrew Demko with Lynn Thompson's input to emulate Cold Steel’s famous Tanto, the Oyabun knife comes with a reinforced blade point, a high satin polish, expert heat treatment (57HRC and sub-zero quenched), and the kind of stunningly sharp edge the manufacturer’s reputation was founded upon.

The folder goes on to feature a (patent pending) leaf spring lock and safety that is tough and reliable; and, to ensure effortless opening of the blade, an integral flipper.

A strong, economical 4.75-inch long handle reinforced with stainless steel liners offers a sure grip on the Oyabun Cold Steel; this handle is injection-molded with a Griv-Ex foundation, and then over-molded with soft, checkered Kray-Ex fastened to the frame with two robust bolts. The package is rounded out by two carry options including a lanyard hole and a stainless steel pocket clip.
