This classic signature Tanto blade is made from German D2 tool steel and finished with a non-reflective, highly scratch resistant black powder coating; it also has a stout tip reinforced to provide extra strength and durability.

Black in color and featuring deeply checkered Griv-Ex that totally encompasses the Leathernecks extra wide, full tang, the handles of the Cold Steel Tanto Leatherneck offer exceptional gripping power through their unique finger trough and palm hugging oval cross section. This grip is also capped with a thick, machined steel butt cap (not cheap casting or plastic like others on the market today), making the butt of the knife fit for use as a hammer in an emergency.

The Leatherneck Tanto is rounded out with a superior solid steel guard made of thick steel with double quillons turned slightly forward to provide excellent protection for your hand while offering minimal interference when utility tasks are performed with the knife.
