The blade on this knife is made of Japanese SK-5 high carbon steel and is abrasion resistant, tough, and edge retaining. Specially reinforced to stay sharp even when encountering modern body armor, its signature Tanto point has been tested and proven able to punch through 55-gallon steel drums.

Black and textured, the 4.75-inch Kray-Ex handle offers a secure grip on the Cold Steel Recon; and the durable Secure-Ex sheath included in the package protects the blade while you move around, as well as provides easy access to the knife.
