This knife, unlike most hollow handled survival knives, features a blade and an integral handle, each expertly cold forged out of a single piece of 2.5 mm thick, SK-5 high carbon steel, expertly heat-treated, and tempered to RC54; as a result, it is exceptionally strong and there’s no joint or seam between the blade and handle of the ColdSteel Bushman that requires a mechanical fastener.

The blade on this versatile tool has been carefully ground to an extra thin edge, and then honed and buffed by hand until razor sharp, making it ideal for skinning, piercing, cutting, slashing, slicing and shearing. The hollow handle has also been designed to accept survival supplies or a variety of handle extensions which can maximize reach, leverage or ease of throwing.
