Magpul MS3 Gen2 Sling

The Magpul Sling MS3 Gen 2 with hardened steel/heavy-duty polymer material; quick-adjust slider; symmetrical paraclip shackles; cross-bolt lock bar; increased webbing length; and black color.

Designed to offer single-hand adjustments and quick-release, and to allow an operator leverage the maneuverability of one-point attachment for direct action, or two-point attachment for stability, the Magpul MS3 incorporates a new low profile quick-adjust slider which minimizes bulk and allows for secure, yet effortless, sling adjustment. The overall length of the webbing has as well been increased to ensure a comfortable fit with all body types and armor configurations.

Made with hardened steel and heavy-duty polymer, the Magpul MS3 Sling Gen2 also features symmetrical Paraclip shackles which allow for easy transition and quick-release capabilities in an emergency, in addition to a cross-bolt lock bar in each Paraclip for optionally locking its lever closed for extra security.

The custom 1.25 inches wide nylon webbing material is not only strong and wear resistant, but also remains anti-chaff for user comfort; this MS3 Gen 2 Sling webbing is also colored and has Near Infrared (NIR) treatment to reduce IR signature.

Offered as a versatile weapon-retention solution for a multitude of tactical environments and missions, this sling can be used in conjunction with the Magpul ASAP® plate (sold separately) to enable seamless transitions into an array of shooting positions without getting bound or fouled. In addition to allowing switching from Weapon Shoulder to Reaction Shoulder for shooting around corners, under vehicles, or to minimize exposure, the Magpul MS3 Sling Gen2 – Black can also increase operator survivability by keeping the weapon in the fight in case of injury to the operator's shoulder, arm, or hand.

Sling Mounting

FRONT - Compatible with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mount, as well as many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels for use in two-point mode. Snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8 inches are required, but 9/16 inches and larger will provide full range of motion.

REAR - Works with the Magpul ASAP as well as the SGA Receiver Sling Mount for optimal shoulder transitioning in one-point mode. Also compatible with many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels.
