Taurus brings the G3 series pistols into the optic arena for 2021 with the release of the full-size G3 T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option), in response to the growing penchant for shooters to include micro red dots on their semi-autos, whether for recreational shooting, competition or personal defense.

You can add your choice of micro red dot immediately without the expense of custom gunsmith work or "downtime" of your handgun, thanks to the factory optic cut on the slide of this Taurus G3 T O R O; and the system's design accommodates a broad range of popular optics on the market today as a result of its ingenious interchangeable plate mounting system.

The proven polymer-frame profile has been maintained, but is now in a full-size configuration with an integrated Picatinny rail that accepts aftermarket accessories for enhanced performance with the G3 TORO Tac, which has generous stippling patches across the grip for maximum control and retention in any shooting condition, an ergonomic palm swell, and side-frame Memory Pads that provide quick, positive hand positioning.

The slide of the Taurus TORO G3 sports front and rear serrations for easy operation at all times; the 4.5-inch stainless steel barrel is threaded to enable the attachment of compatible muzzle devices; the slide release lever is optimally positioned above the thumb for easy manipulation; and the sighting system that now includes a serrated steel rear sight along with a white dot steel front sight helps you target better with the Taurus G3 T.O.R.O.
