The 22/45 Mark IV pistol by Ruger comes featuring a comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap; a 4.4-inch, cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity, and 1/2"-28 thread pattern for popular muzzle accessories; as well as top and bottom Picatinny rails which let you attach a variety of tactical accessories for improved performance with the Ruger 22/45 Mark 4.

Also featured on this pistol is an ergonomic bolt stop; an internal cylindrical bolt construction that ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs; a contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears that allow for durable and reliable operation round after round; and checkered, 1911-style grip panels for a great appearance and comfortable, non-slip hold on the Mark IV 22.

The accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics; the ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer; the magazine easily drops free on release – thanks to the conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame – for convenient reloading; and the magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 magazine has been removed. Two, 10-round magazines are included in the package.

Compatible with the Silent-SR® sound suppressor, this pistol lends itself to simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools.
