Ruger proudly presents the 22/45 Mark IV pistol boasting a comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap; a 4.4-inch, cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity,1/2"-28 threads for popular muzzle accessories, and thread protector; as well as a spacious Picatinny rail which lets you mount a variety of tactical accessories for enhanced performance with the Ruger 22/45 Mark 4.

The bolt stop of this pistol is quite ergonomic, and its internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Also featured is a contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears that allow for durable and reliable operation round after round; and checkered, 1911-style grip panels for a great appearance and comfortable, non-slip hold on the Mark IV 22.

The ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer; the accurate sighting system features an adjustable rear sight and a factory-installed Picatinny rail for easy mounting of optics; the magazine easily drops free on release – thanks to the conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame – for convenient reloading; and the magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 magazine has been removed.

This pistol lends itself to simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping plus proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools.

Bear in mind that the Ruger 22 45 is compatible with the Silent-SR® sound suppressor, and two, 10-round magazines are included in the package.
