The BCM QRF-8 Handguard with 6061-T6 aluminum construction; black color; hard coat anodized finish; recoil slot markings; mechanical index; QD sling swivel sockets; steel barrel nut; and 8” length.

This BCM Free Float Drop In Quad Rail Handguard for sale features the same industry leading barrel nut and lock up design as originally introduced on BCM's evolutionary KMR handguard, and is designed to be used with carbine (or shorter) gas systems with a low profile gas block.

The QRF Series of handguards gives the shooter modularity in the Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) platform. This proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691) includes a mechanical index to the 12:00 rail, and positions mounting hardware to mitigate the movement caused by heat generated by the weapon system. The 8” Gunfighter for AR rifles also includes T, L, R, and B recoil slot markings on all four rails to aid in repeatable set up for the end user; and 4 QD sling swivel sockets (limited rotation).

Made of precision machined aerospace 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for high strength and lightweight, as well as Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodized per Mil-A-8625F, the BCM Gunfighter Quad Rail eliminates loads from the barrel, reducing the deflection for more accurate shooting. Its proprietary engineered profile offers additional cross sectional strength, and the steel barrel nut (same KMR, MCMR, and QRF series) does a good job of resisting movement under heat. The barrel nut will fit over all mil-spec diameter barrels (max of 1").

The actual length of the Free Float Quad Rail is 8 inches; the handguard alone weighs 7.5 oz, the handguard mounting hardware weighs 2.3 oz; inside diameter is 1.3 inches; and width is 2.12 inches.
