Offered only in a right hand configuration, the Species IWB Holster is a species of Boltaron holsters with a minimalist design that offers a smaller package compared to other IWB holsters. This model is designed to fit the Smith and Wesson Shield or Shield Plus pistol.

This species of IWB holsters is a blend of Safariland quality materials and excellent design integration; and thanks to its minimalist design, bulk has been reduced in key areas of the Safariland Species to make IWB (inside-the-waistband) appendix style carry ideal.

A SafariLaminate thermal-molded construction for superior durability and longevity; a suede-lined interior for improved firearm fit and enhanced finish; an adaptable tension device which allows for tailored firearm tension and fit in holster; and an integrated as well as adjustable passive trigger guard retention that allows for a personalized feel during draw and reholstering, are additional features of the Safariland IWB holster.

The integrated mounting clip is fully cantable and vertically adjustable for wear comfort, and it fits standard 1.5" (38 mm) belt widths.
