Benchmade has once again teamed up with Greg Thompson to optimize some of the most popular elements of the SOCP platform for concealed carry with the 173BK Mini SOCP, and they’ve done this by taking the best features of its full-sized counterpart.

The perfect tool for self-defense, this double-edged dagger allows the user to maintain dexterity as well as manipulate other objects without putting down the knife, and features a 2.2-inch, 440C stainless steel (58-60HRC) blade with a black powdercoat; a black-coated, single-piece handle also made of stainless steel and designed for a secure grip on the SOCP Dagger Mini; and a finger ring at the top of the handle.

Bear in mind that this knife has the same handle as the full-size SOCP, but with a smaller blade. The overall length of this Benchmade SOCP Mini allows for easier concealment while maintaining its effectiveness in a self-defense situation.

A MOLLE compatible sheath that doesn’t need malice clips is included in the package. This sheath is injection-molded in black with lashing holes, and the included leather pad attaches to it for comfortable IWB carry. Based on feedback from Special Operations personnel, Benchmade has updated the design of the SOCP Mini sheath with some J-shaped hooks to allow for better retention on MOLLE webbing, pocket seams, and waistbands.
