Its plain edge, drop-point blade is made of high-quality stainless steel able to withstand incredible abuse while holding its edge with unbeatable retention, thanks to its black oxide finish; the 6061-T6 aluminum handle is contoured to provide the user with a superiorly secure grip on the Gerber 06 Auto knife ; the oversized release button allows use with gloves; and the slide safety featured engages in both the open and closed positions.
