Featured on it is a 4-inch Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) for increased accuracy; a flared mag-well for smoother magazine insertions into the Glock 22 Gen 5 MOS; an ambidextrous slide stop lever, in addition to a reversible enlarged magazine catch that is changeable in seconds, for left or right-handed user convenience.

Also featured is a frame and grip made of durable polymer. The frame employs the scientifically designed, real-world-tested, rough textured technology; and the modular back strap design lets you instantly customize the Glock 22 Gen5 grip to adapt to an individual shooter’s hand size.

Internally, the dual recoil spring assembly substantially increases the life of the system. The Glock Safe Action system (drop safety, trigger safety, firing pin safety) ensures reliability; and a single slot Picatinny rail is provided so you can mount lights and lasers for improved performance with the Gen5 Glock 22.

The 40 S&W caliber chambering of this pistol closes the gap between the .45 Auto calibers and the 9x19 service calibers.
