Built around a monolithic frame made from 400-series stainless steel, the LCRx comes outfitted with a barrel that is just approximately 1.8 inches in length; a high-strength, stainless steel cylinder with PVD finish for excellent durability and extensive fluting for weight reduction; and a Hogue® Tamer Monogrip® grip that helps to dampen perceived recoil. The grip peg allows for a variety of grip styles to be installed on the Ruger LCRx.

The patented friction-reducing cam is a next generation design in fire control systems that results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull; and the equally patented polymer fire control housing holds all the fire control components in their proper dimensional relationships, reduces weight significantly, and also minimizes recoil.

An external hammer for single-action use, a replaceable pinned ramp front sight with white bar, and an integral u-notch rear sight are crowning features of the Ruger LCRx 357 which ships with three full moon clips that both act as speed loaders and aid in the ejection of spent cartridges.
